Interior Design
June 22-27, 2025
Are you an aspiring interior designer? This hands-on program will introduce you to the fundamentals of design through engaging workshops, studio activities, and working on a real-life project. Under the guidance of experienced university faculty, you will gain valuable insight into the creative and collaborative field of interior design in today's vibrant built environment.
In this immersive week-long experience, you will have a chance to:
- Explore the design process—from concept to completion
- Learn key skills in space planning, color theory and materials selection
- Complete a final design project
- Gain hands-on experience in ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox's interior design lab
An Award-Winning Program
ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox’s interior design program was named the International Interior Design Association’s Campus Center of the Year for 2023 and 2024 – quite an honor considering all U.S. schools with interior design programs were considered!
Cost
The cost for the Interior Design Institute is $1,800 per student ($1,600 for students from partner schools). This includes a week of immersive college-level courses taught by ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox faculty, convenient on-campus lodging, three meals per day in the dining hall, and evening programming.

Casey Martin
Instructor of Interior Design
For over a decade, Casey Martin has practiced commercial interior design through her own company, Reverie Design Studio, which specializes in school and commercial office design. She has worked as a designer and LEED project manager for projects in Hawaii and South Korea as an interior designer at Mitsunaga & Associates.
Casey joined the university as an instructor of interior design in 2021. Previously, she was an interior design instructor at the Art Institute of Portland (2015-18) and taught at Portland Community College (2020).
