Maranda Turner joined ºìÐÓ¶ÌÊÓƵ Fox in 2017 as an assistant professor of education. She previously served as a K-12 sheltered instruction coach in the Gresham-Barlow School District, creating professional development sessions for teachers of all grade levels. She also worked as an adjunct professor at Portland State University (2010-17), where she specialized in graduate-level courses that included the English for Speakers of Other Languages endorsement and bilingual special education.
Maranda taught previously as an adjunct at Concordia University in Portland (2010-13) and taught at the elementary-school level (K-5) in the Reynolds School District in Troutdale, Oregon. She holds a master’s degree in special education from Portland State University (2010), a master of education degree in educational leadership from the University of Portland (2002) and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Concordia University (1998).
